The role
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Freelance Venture Assistant to support our founders across accounting, HR administration, documentation, people and vendor management, and special projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to growing organizations, improving processes, and ensuring that operational tasks are executed reliably and efficiently.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Support bookkeeping activities, including processing invoices, collecting and organizing receipts, managing external service providers, and maintaining accurate financial records
- Administer and maintain our HR management system (Personio)
- Support founders with employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, contract administration, performance management and personnel documentation
- Create, maintain, and continuously improve SOPs, playbooks, and how-to manuals
- Support procurement processes, vendor onboarding, and contract administration
- Support founders with day-to-day operational and administrative activities
Skills and values
- Hands-on experience with HR administration and bookkeeping activities
- Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Proactive problem solver with a hands-on mentality
- Ability to commit to a long-term engagement with predictable recurring responsibilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency with common productivity tools such as Google Workspace and Slack
- Nice-to-Have: Experience with Personio
